The most I could do for the longest was be honest with God that I just didn&#39;t want to forgive, but I wanted to want to forgive. I wanted to be there, but I just wasn&#39;t for quite some time. That was the first step in a long process...but God was patient with me as I unfurled my grip and released things and people into His hands.
